If you haven’t already started to think about the special edition wines that are coming out starting with the Passport Merlot Cabernet Franc from the Lodi region of California in December. Radiant is how they (you know who “they” are) are describing this wine. Plum, raspberry and strawberry notes with mocha and baking spice on the back end. Also in December we have a beauty from Valencia Spain. Bobal is a grape that is gaining in popularity. Combined with Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine offers black fruit, mild spice with hints of plum, cassis and cherry. Earthy nuances of oak, cocoa and licorice round out this polished blend.
