Happy November!

Who doesn’t love the weather we are getting this week? It will change, of course, probably just in time for International Merlot Day on November 7.

Just a couple of weeks left to Pre-order any LE22 of Passport Series wines. I have placed the order for the RQ23, but I ordered lots, so you won’t miss out. I will still take reservations.

We have a beautiful NEW Barossa Valley Shiraz that is becoming a permanent addition to the Private Reserve wines. As an introduction, it is on offer for $199.00 / batch, a savings of $12.00.  Cooked black fruit flavours of blackberry and plum with layered notes of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, pepper and spice. It will arrive this week, just in time to order for the holidays. 6 week kits will be ready in time for Christmas if they are made in the next 2 weeks.

We are fully stocked with DIY Cheesemaker Kits to help you cross items off your Christmas list. These make fun gifts, make it yourself and give a pound of cheese with a bottle of your DIY wine. Watch the video to see how easy it is to make your own cheese.

Happy Thanksgiving Folks!!

Well, someone certainly flipped the switch on summer, so of course, it now goes to only 2 degrees at night.

But the good news, is that we can start thinking about all those big , bold reds that seem out of place in the summer.

Browse the website for the presentations of the RQ23, LE22 and Passport series. I need to know by the end of October for the RQ wines and November 10th for the LE and Passport so I can pre-order the correct amount.

Fireworks for our 5 Year Anniversary Wine Sale

Happy September, and Happy Anniversary to me!!

It was 5 years ago that I took over Main West U Brew Wines. With 2.5 years of Covid, I have to think hard, what those first couple of years were like . Buckets and buckets of great wine have been created here and poured into your glasses at home. I am so grateful for the warmth, humour and support you have brought to my life.

In celebration of our anniversary, as well as the 60 years that RJ Spagnol has been making wine kits, we are offering a very special wine. A Niagara Cabernet Franc, which takes 4 weeks to make, will let us all enjoy the fruits of our own backyard. A very food-friendly luxurious, medium bodied wine, bursting with cherry, blackberry and plum notes. Vanilla and toasty nutmeg and bold tannins round out this delicious offering. A very special price of $149.00/ batch while supplies last. Don’t worry, I ordered lots.

 

Our other special, all 6 and 8 week Private Reserve wines are $15.00 off. Yours for $196.00/ batch. These are premium wines from around the world. A great time to try something different, and we can deny it all we want, but it is a great time to make something for the winter holidays.
