Welcome to August….. by now we have had the taste of local tomatoes, corn and all things veggie that we look forward to every summer. My wish is that you have taken a little time to smell the roses, as it always seems that something can block us from enjoying the important things. Life should be easier in the summer. 

Speaking of easy, we have a couple of new wines available that we are sure you will enjoy. Smooth Red is a medium bodied, medium oaked, fruit forward off dry wine that is just easy going down. Rich with juicy black berries, the off dry nature lends to it smooth texture. Smooth White also features a fruit forward approach with juicy notes of pear and melon. These wines would find a home with both new and vintage (wink, wink) wine drinkers. $149.00/ batch.

Happy Canada Day and hot July!

Summertime…and the sippin’ is easy…

Hope you are able to beat the smoke and heat anyway you can. A note to say we will be closed July 1st, as I hope everyone can enjoy a time to reflect the greatness of this country. Sure, we are not perfect by a long shot, but the fact that we make efforts to improve says a lot about the character of the folks that call this fine place home.

We will be feature a summer blowout of RQ23 Australian Merlot that retailed for $215.00 per batch is available for July only at $175.00 / batch. A great wine to put down for Christmas and you can’t beat the $40.00 savings.

Summertime…and the living is easy….

At least I hope it is easier. Don’t you love it when we go from 14 degrees to 30 in a day. Whew, thank goodness for cold sippin’ wine.

I am pleased to tell you about a limited release of a Private Reserve Wine that is a trio of Cabernet, Zinfandel and Syrah that has been infused with whisky barrel chips from Gretzky Estates. That delicious blend will be available in July for $217.00/ batch.

We will not be closing at all this summer, so we will be available right through to serve you better.
