The weather is starting to come around and are minds are turning to hot laid back days. We have a hot deal for a one-time availability in celebration of RJ Spagnol’s 60th anniversary.

It is a Cru International Cabernet Franc from our own backyard of Niagara. Ruby-red, luxurious with food-friendly acidity, this special wine with notes of cherries, blackberries, plums and a toasty nutmeg and vanilla spice presence brings this wine to life. The bold tannins and round mouthfeel will delight your palate. If this wine is for you, please let me know by May 12th. I have to pre-order them for the release date in August. $160.00/ batch for this very special wine.

As Covid is starting to trend in the right direction, we will keep the mask mandate until the end of May and we consider lifting it at that time. We are concerned for your well being and strive to keep a safe and comfortable environment for everyone.

Did you know that April 7th is World Health Day? April is filled with various celebrations and conscious days. Red wine has been proven in moderation, to keep your heart healthy. 

The beginning of nicer weather is upon us, so our thoughts turn to sipping something yummy outside. It is what we all have been waiting for, that, and an end to Covid. For the time being, we will maintain the mask mandate here, but I will watch carefully what is going on in our area and we won’t keep it longer than I feel we need to. Happy 3 weeks to Spring!!

Hope everyone is continuing to cope with the ever-changing Covid landscape. We will continue to require masking, and with our second bottling room, we can keep everyone as safe as we possibly can.

 We are pleased to announce the return of the recipe for the very popular Grand Cru Pinot Grigio.

This is a dry wine with overtones of green melon leading to a crisp, clean finish. A bouquet of honey and herbs combined with aromas of clove, nutmeg and butterscotch from the addition of oak, completes the experience of this perennially favourite white. This wine is created from Ontario grapes and in the Cru International group, it is a step above in both class and flavour.
