Season’s Greetings fellow wine lovers! We at Main West U Brew Wines would like to thank you for your patronage and friendship during this past year and wish you and yours the very best for this Holiday Season and the New Year. 🙂
Along with our January specials, we are going to have a draw for a “Wine Experience”. Ballots will be accepted in January and February and the draw will be held the first week of March. Every ballot will give you the chance to win a Cru Select Wine Experience that includes: a wine kit, in-store fermentation, 30 bottles, corks, labels, and shrink caps ($205 value)!
Our supplier, RJ Spagnols, is helping us put on this fun and exciting raffle. RJS’s Cru Select 16L family of wines is one their finest that features grape varieties and wine styles from around the world. To be entered in the draw, all you have to do is submit a photo to us that features your favourite Main West U Brew Wine! Each qualifying photo submitted will give you a ballot entry. You can enter as many times as you like. You can submit your photo any of number of ways:

- Not social-media savvy? You can email your photo to us at mwubrew [at] bellnet.ca and we will post it to our Facebook Page for you.
- Or, you can bring a photo into the store and we will post it on our Facebook Page for you.

The Vermentino, Italy – White peach, green apple, fresh lime and quenching acidity.
The Washington State – Ripe raspberry and red currant with black pepper and solid tannins.
February 2017 Release:
The Valencia, Spain – Black and red fruit, cherry cola, anise, white pepper and bold mouth-feel.
March 2017 Release:
The San Joaquin Valley, California – Crabapple, strawberry, white peach and grapefruit.
April 2017 Release:
The Riverland Australia – Black currant, cigar box, black cherry and raspberry with warm vanilla spice.
January 2017 Release:
Nero D’Avola – Nero D’Avola offers aromas of ripe black fruit with notes of vanilla and smoke, and abundant flavours of ripe black cherry & plum with spicy accents, velvety tannins, and a long finish.
Riesling – Juicy lemon-lime flavours fill the palate, accented by orange blossom and apple notes, mineral tones, and a backbone of crisp, energetic acidity. The subtle sweetness really makes the citrus sing in this succulent & refreshing white.
February 2017 Release:
Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé – Fresh strawberry on the nose, with watermelon and cranberry accents. This crisp, fragrant rosé carries juicy strawberry flavours and tart red fruit notes on the palate. Balanced and refreshing, with crisp acidity and a subtle minerality.

Kookaburra Red – A bold, charismatic blend of Grenache, Shiraz, and Mataro loaded with raspberry, blackberry, spice, and a supple finish. Grenache brings ripe, jammy fruit flavours and hints of cinnamon spice.
